Drum and Bass Artist Turno Joins Forces with MIND Charity for Latest Single and Documentary

Acclaimed Drum & Bass artist DJ Turno is gearing up for the release of his upcoming single ‘What’s On Your Mind?’ This track, which drops on 14th September via Time Is Now, features collaborations with SJ Loq, Myleedan, Phizi, and Too Lippy.

As one of the luminaries in the drum & bass domain, DJ Turno is also spotlighted in the premiere episode of BBC One’s “We Are England: Series 2.” With its poignant message urging young men to communicate and express themselves, the single is eagerly awaited and speaks volumes about societal values.

A PARTNERSHIP WITH MIND

Though once a prolific force in the drum & bass world, producing some of the most electrifying jump-up tracks, DJ Turno, also known as Franko, took an unexpected break due to a devastating personal loss. The upcoming documentary captures Turno’s path into mental health awareness, triggered by the heartbreaking suicide of his brother the previous year.

Fabio, Turno’s dearly missed brother, was not only a significant supporter of Turno’s music but also instrumental in shaping Turno’s artistic identity and style. Reflecting on his latest work, DJ Turno shares:

“If this song resonates with our audience and steers even a single individual to seek help before considering suicide, then we’ll know we’ve truly made an impact.”

All proceeds from ‘What’s On Your Mind?’ will directly benefit the mental health awareness organization, MIND.
